The Treasure Knot
While looking for knitting patterns I found sometimes sites about knitting looms. It sounded/looked interesting but I never thought of buying such a tool.
Then I found instructions, how to make my own knitting loom.
I haven’t done it yet, but the project still lurks in the back of my head ;-)

I find it always convenient to be able to create a fast, unique and beautiful item, such as a personal greeting card for my beloved.
One way to do this is described at making-greeting-cards.com. I really loved the Nature Cards.

Since I have found this knot at Bead-Patterns.com my self-made items look much more better. The knot is easy, fast and slim, it is almost invisible and I use it nearly everywhere: to connect the yarns at knitting and crocheting and to connect threads while beading.
Peyote stitching is a fast and easy way to create your own jewelry. To see how to make a ring see i.e. the instruction for the Peyote Stitch Beaded Ring from diy network.
