I really liked the idea of embossed toast and tried it immediately with cookie cutters.
But I never saw the embossing ;-(
Maybe it’s because I used wholemeal toast?!
Or you must possibly put the embossing mould into the toaster, too? Of course I didn’t do that with my cookie cutters!

Ooh no, you do not put the mold in the toaster. You press it onto the bread, which leaves deep grooves that don’t brown before the ‘peaks’ do. White bread or light bread (like potato or French) shows the pattern better. :)
