I realized that I’ve published more than 1000(!) entries already and to celebrate this fact you can get an Advent calendar from me ;-)

Every day you will get a couple of rows to knit in a different pattern and on december 25, 2010 you will have a most beautiful lace shawl :))

By the way: The photo is extra small – it gives you just an idea of what you will knit but (hopefully ;-)) not spoil the surprise.

    Seems my whole knitting group has joined the “bandwagon” and is knitting your lovely scarf.

    One question has popped up, what do we do for even numbered rows? Are they knit back? Or purled back? If you could reply to my email.

    I’m really pleased that you all knit the scarf, thank you very much :))

    I sent you the requested email, but the question may be of interest to others, too:
    You can read in in the blog page, where you get the downloads:
    “Note: I didn’t mention in the patterns what happens to the back rows: Knit all back rows or purl all back rows. With the latter your shawl will be in garter stitch and won’t curl.
    Personally I prefer stockinette and purled all back rows.”

    Perhaps you want to also check out the ravelry group unikatissima, because that question is been discussed, there, too.
