Bead Crochet

Bead Crochet

I showed before a tutorial on crocheting bead ropes. These bead crochet instructions are different: this time you crochet something like a completely beaded fabric which you can use further for your projects. Use it e.g. for little purses.

CD or DVD Storage ‘Book’

CD or DVD Storage ‘Book’

Most of us have lots of CDs and/or DVDs to put somewhere we can find them back. I don’t especially like the CD cases from the point of view of their looks. Such a CD book can be so much more kitschy than every CD case can be ;-) (although some try hard ;-)))

Miniature 3-D Star

Miniature 3-D Star

I found (and enjoyed ;-)) this article at craftster and then remembered, that I once have seen an instruction on how to fold those little stars how to fold those little stars (the link isn’t available no more).
I tried it once but again my fingers didn’t worked the way I asked them ;-) This time it were the stars that looked clumsy ;-)

Double-Sided Paper Mache Bowl

Double-Sided Paper Mache Bowl

I found many a beautiful paper mache bowl in internet and I like those compact bowls, so this tutorial this tutorial was like made for me ;-)
I tried the technique and it worked out well and looked great. Unfortunately I gave them away (I made two bowls in different sizes) and don’t have any photo of them.

Making a Bead Spinner

Making a Bead Spinner

Yesterday I presented a how-to crochet with beads. For the rope you have to string beads on a thread which is a boring exercise. When you simply want to string the beads without any pattern you can use a bead spinner. Kimberly Chapman published a tutorial for making yourself a bead spinner out of reused materials.
What a great idea!
