Pillowcase Tote

Creative Kismet Pillowcase Tote

Recently I presented the quick bag from a t-shirt, the pillowcase tote is of the same kind.

If you don’t really like both, I have already presented several other bags, purses and totes, I’m sure that there is something for you ;-)

Fall Photo Tips

Photojojo Fall Photo Tips

As said before, fall has begun and perhaps you like to make some really beautiful photos.
Then the fall photo tips will be perfect for you.

They forgot though that you have to look out for ground squirrels if you want to make good photos ;-)
And possibly you can take even better pictures with a self-made fisheye lens.

And if you don’t know what to do with the photos, simply browse this blog and make you a DIY photo silhouette t-Shirt with beautifully photographed leaves, Kaleidoscope pictures that you can use on greeting cards, candle lit photo stands for a good ambience, photo pencils that one likes to put in a row, a mailable mosaic for good friends, a photo bookmark where the leave overlaps a little, a Crazy Quilt photo frame that you embroider beautifully, a photo stamp for card making, too, and if you only want to display the pictures, you can make a plaster photo holder or a Jacob’s Ladder for yourself.

And if you have done all this you will already need the tips ‘Photograph the Holidays’ again ;-))

Your name in Japanese

japanesetranslator Susann

I find the Japanese name translator really great, I simply let output the name Susann in all possible fonts ;-)

I’m not yet sure what to do with them but nothing could be easier than to turn them into filet crochet/cross stitch embroidery charts and then we’re really going to get started with knitting, crocheting, embroidering, knotting, stencelling etc ;-))

Or I print them as signature next time on a greeting card.
Or I cut a stamp from it.
Do you have more ideas?

Start an Embroidery

unikatissima Start an Embroidery

I just wanted to try ‘real’ embroidery (viz. not on paper ;-)) and had to find out how actually to begin and to end (on paper I simply glue on the threads but I thought that this must be done differently on fabric ;-)).

I found great instructions that helped a lot.

After my first experience with the v-neck of my t-shirt I think that I will embroider more often on fabric ;-)

Colorful Raggedy Scrap Scarf

craftster Raggedy Scarf

I found at craftster (again! ;-)) something beautiful: the colorful raggedy scrap scarf.

I imagine that some big self-made knitting needles could be used?!

I guess that I’ll have to purchase a lot of jumble sale fabric and old t-shirts, because I don’t have much fabric scraps ;-)
To-do-list again ;-))
