I find these coffee cup designer vases most beautiful, but I don’t like styrofoam ;-(

Great idea: to transform an empty shampoo bottle into a holder for charging cell phones!

I find these little storage boxes great: simply take a plastic bottle to pieces and crochet them together in a new way ;-)
They make me think of the beautiful postcard boxes.

I think that I will buy at least two bigger plastic bottles soon which I will cover with paper mache and from the caps I will make boxes.
Then I only have to think about what to do with the content ;-)))

I don’t have often bigger plastic bottles but the covering with paper mache must work with shampoo bottles, too?! ;-)

I have here already a lot of tutorials and inspirations for items from plastic bottles and from recycled paper, but I think that this is the first combining both ;-)
Anyway, I found an inspiration where they make baskets from recycled paper and plastic stripes.
They are made similarly to the basket coiling but with different materials.
I find some of these baskets most beautiful!
If that’s not your cup of tea check here whether you find other baskets that you like ;-)

Again a really good idea: cut off the bottom of a plastic bottle and let set the pudding in there.
And soon you have a flowery pudding :))
But of course you can do muuuch more with plastic bottles ;-)
Addendum: In my German entry somebody commented saying the following (translation by me):
“Plastic bottles emit softening agents, environmental hormones and bisphenol-A from into their content. All not exactly good for your health. The warmer the content the more they emit. So not a good idea!
If you really want to do this let the pudding at least nearly completely cool down.”

When I saw the chameleon I was totally amazed – especially because it contains also a secret compartment!
Well, it doesn’t go with my room, but who knows…

I had some tutorials concerning ‘plastic bottles’ before, but I find this one still special: I would never have had the idea to work a plastic bottle this way!

I like paper weaving and recycling, too, but I like it even better if all come together ;-)
This happens here: they had the inventive idea to glue some newspaper on beverage cartons and weave them with plastic strips to make a (non-waterproof!) vase from.
What a great idea!
