Needle Felted Bracelet

theartofmegan Needle Felted Loop Bracelet

I found a good tutorial again, this time about how to make a needle felted bracelet.

I put it directly on my list, because I think it is great as a base that can be embellished e.g. with bead embroidered Paisleys or bead picots but also with ‘just-embroidery’ like the cross stitch heart, the freeform embroidery or the Embroidery Crust.
Additionally you can make matching earrings and a pendant for a necklace.

Peyote Triangle Bracelet

thisyearsdozen_wordpress Peyote Triangle Bracelet

Recently I browsed the internet for Peyote bead work and this way I found the instruction on how to make a Peyote triangle bracelet (see instead this diagram).
Looks great, doesn’t it?

My to-do-list gets longer and longer ;-))

But I found a diagram (Triangle Peyote Stitch.Beadwork.) that you can possibly use instead.

Wire Wrapped Hardware

craftydaisies Wire Wrapped Hardware

When seeing this tutorial on how to make jewelry from hardware store stuff I feel the urge to drive to the next hardware store immediately and rummage around.
But I will stay strong and wait until the next occasion.
Or perhaps I just sneak off to my basement…
;-)))

Bauble – Knitted Bead Cuff

unikatissima Bauble.jpg

I found at knitty the instruction for the knitted bead cuff ‘Bauble’ and really liked it.
Therefore I wanted to knit at least a bit to see how it looks.
Because I don’t have any bigger beads at the moment I used some left over paper beads.
But I didn’t manage to knit the bead string at all.
I really must try it again when I’m a little more untroubled because I really find Bauble beautiful!

Aluminium Can Jewelry

I love recycling tutorials and therefore this tutorial on how to make aluminium can jewelry should hit the spot.
Additionally I really like the items, better than others.

But I haven’t bought aluminium cans for years and I don’t think that I will begin to buy them now just to make jewelry from the them ;-))

DIY Shrinky Dinks

unikatissima DIY Shrinky Dinks

I found at craftster a tutorial on how to make DIY Shrinky Dinks. I liked this (I don’t like to buy new materials, especially when I haven’t tried the technique yet).
Additionally I made a little research and found more (very similar) tutorials (see also Links below).
I really must try this, although I will wait until summer when I can easily ventilate the kitchen, because I’m always afraid of toxic gases.
Until then I can find out perhaps which of the odd plastic dishes I can use ;-)
